Kindle eReader

Working on the Kindle line of products was my first foray into hardware. I shipped several feature improvements to the OS, and led design on the first Kindle Oasis. It's unique eInk screen was a fun constraint.

Wifi Locker

I designed and launched the Kindle eReader version of Amazon's Wifi Locker feature- which allows credentials to be shared across Amazon devices.

Kindle for the blind

I worked on launching Kindle's Screen Reader- which goes far beyond the stock software used by most major tablet providers. Leveraging Alexa I refined the Screen Reader experience, and redefining what it means to read a book as a vision impaired customer.

Kindle Oasis Launch

In addition to working on various features which launched on all Kindle products, I adjusted core page types and provided redlines which were used during development of the then new Kindle Oasis line.
