As the UX lead on the Echo Plus, I had the opportunity to define several Echo voice interface features. These include using your voice to setup a new device, using your thermostat and playing music on Sonos.

Smart Home Device Discovery

This was the very artifact that got a final stakeholder approval for testing. There were some incremental refinements done to certain interactions thanks to usability and post-launch insights, but the model itself remains intact in Alexa's current interaction model today.
