I managed the design teams of Luxury and Collectibles category Verticals. Starting from a single designer, I scaled a top-notch team to support bold bets focused on niche communities.

I firmly believe that Design has the potential to drive momentum in any organization. By partnering closely with cross-functional disciplines (+ teams across eBay) my team has shipped several impactful features, helped set a product vision, boasts eBay's highest category CSAT, and expanded eBay's design system.
Live Commerce
I led the launch of the inaugeral pilot/mvp of eBay Live- eBay's new live shopping platform. It's a new way to lets enthusiasts discover, chat and purchase instantly- resulting in >10 minute avg watch time.
Business goal: Launch a several event-model streaming events to validate eBay customer demand for a more intimate commerce experience.
User goal: As a high-value buyer, get me closer connected to the Collectibles sellers and brands I enjoy and trust most. As a seller open up an avenue for me to quickly sell through stock at a higher volume clip.
Trading card portfolio and secure storage
It may come as a surprise that trading cards are big business- as a category it's one of eBay's most profitable. I managed taking eBay's "Collection" trading card portfolio and Vault services from beta's to public launches. The result has been more than double category GMV growth compared to other eBay categories.
Business goal: Incentivize flippers and investors to keep their trading card transactions within the eBay ecosystem.
Customer goal: As an experienced flipper, help me be aware of key times to buy vs sell high value cards.
Camera vision
I managed the launch of eBay's first ever catalog-driven camera vision feature. The result was a reduction of time-on-task for trading card management by over 70%, and a substantial improvement to eBay's #1 trading card customer complaint- market value accuracy.
Business goal: Increase accuracy of our Price Guidance by mapping image recognition and brand catalogs to a query.
User goal: As an enthusiast-level customer, reduce time it takes to add a card to your eBay trading card portfolio (Collection).
NFC-enabled authentication
I drove roadmap and design improvement of our NFC scan experience. Scanning an "eTag" dongle on a product allows a customer to confirm product authenticity.
Business goal: Reduce customer service inquiries around authenticity inquiries due to unsuccessful scan experiences.
User goal: As a sneakerhead, give me confidence that my shoes are legit. Quickly.
3d Immersion
I managed the launch of the buyer experience of 3d rendering within item pages on eBay resulting in a ~5% conversion improvement. The launch of this involved coordination with several technical teams, and eBay's framework team. Explore some 3d listings within the eBay app today!
Business goal: Increase buyer trust for high value pre-worn sneaker listings, for higher conversion rate.
User goal: As a sneaker investor, help me understand existing condition of the exact product I am considering.

A healthy team culture feels like community. An emphasis on teamwork translates to tangibles like productive workshops, field work, and lots of high-fives.
Operations
After operationalizing the Collectibles and Luxury categories within the Verticals organization, my mechanisms were templatized and made standard for our entire organization.
I also helped standardize our onboarding resources for new hires, set a team charter, instituted mandatory design brief intake, delegated peer review (crit), and drafted our organizations executive roll up process.
